You can define an initial program position for this
TV set. The preferred use for the initial program
position is to switch to the AV program position
when using an external receiver or to set a favou-
rite channel as the start-up station when the set is
switched on
Initial program position settings
This menu option cannot be set in a 2**
menu
• Press the
key to open
the TV menu.
• Use the red button
to
open the “Configuration”
menu.
• Use the cursor control key to
select “Operating” and “Init.
prog. position” and press
.
• The cursor is on the “Mode
of operation” menu option.
You can use the
V-/V+
key
to set the desired mode of
operation (TV, Radio or AV).
• Then select “Program”. If you have selected TV
as the mode of operation, you can now set the
desired program (e.g. 004 for “RTL”). With the
AV mode of operation, you can select an exter-
nal AV connection like EURO 1, EURO 2

HDMI, etc. as an external AV connection.
• Press the
button to save the new settings.
• Clear the “TV menu” with the
button.
If the TV set is now switched on with the
power button
on the set or the button
on the remote control, the preset initial pro-
gram position appears.

Opening the menu
The number of subjects and sections depends
on the selected scope of operation. Depending
on the configuration of the TV set, the various
menu items may be displayed in a different
order and numbered differently.
