Example:
2700 A current load is feed by 3 equal parallel cables. In order to
measure current we can embrace only one cable with clamps, and select:
Measuring on wires: 3 in clamp menu. Instrument will assume that we measure
only third part of current.
Note:
During setup current range can be observed by “Current range: 100%
(3000 A)” row.
Indirect current measurement
Indirect current measurement with primary current transducer is assumed if we select
5A current clamps: A 1122 or A 1037. Load current is that case measured
indirectly
through additional primary current transformer.

if we have 100A of primary current flowing through primary transformer with
ratio 600A:5A, settings are shown in following figure.
