4.3. PREPARATION FOR TRANSPORT
1. Set end arms 9 as per fig. 6.
2. Set the swath curtain arm 14 as per fig. 6.
3. Set safeguard bows 13 as per fig. 8.
4. 4. Set 3-point linkage frame catch pins according to tractor's three point linkage system
category
I or II as per fig. 15.
5. Couple the rake to tractor's three point linkage system according to the tractor's operating
manual.
CAUTION!
Be careful while coupling the rake with the tractor.
6. Install portable warning lights 20 and warning triangle 24 as per fig. 14. Check if the lights
work properly.
7. 7. Lift the rake using hydraulic lift to minimal height from the ground.
Exercise caution during lifting the rake with hydraulic lift.
- raise the support 22 into upper position fig.12.
- position the latch 18 into transport position as per fig. 10.
Do not forget to insert the safety pin 19.
- set the length of the tractor's three point linkage system central hatch so as to ensure that
the distance from the top of the red reflective light 21 fig. 11 to the road surface is max.
1200 mm when the rake is lifted to transport position.
