6. When required, replace worn parts with new original parts offered by the manufacturer of the
Z 548 rake. Only original parts will provide the desirable result.
While purchasing spare parts and tines ensure the parts come from the manufacturer of the Z548
rake.
Before the start of the crop season and, in addition, once a month during the operation of the
turner:
- check the oil level in the gearbox and, if required, add oil up to the level of the side plug 27
(fig.20) in the housing.
If you find a leak, eliminate the cause and top up the oil to the required level;
- fill in the greaser 28 with 2 cm3 of Liten EPG-00 grease or other grease suitable for toothed
gears.
- use grease nipples 17 (Fig. 2a) to grease the joints of beams with support wheels
- use grease nipple 30 (Fig. 20) to grease the tines' height adjusting system
