4.3.1.
TOWING THE RAKE
Pay attention to the correct operation of portable warning lights.
Exercise caution while towing due to the size of the rake.
4.4. PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
Before putting the rake into operation always make sure that there are no people or animals within
the working range of raking arms.
1.
Position the swath curtain 14 with the arm 15 and end arms 9 as per fig. 5.
2.
Position safeguard bows 13 as per fig. 7
3.
Position the latch in working position as per fig. 9.
4.
Manually turn the rotor to check the operation of the rake.
Rotating arms should not be touching any other elements.
Tines used in raking should be set at the same height from the ground.
Adjust the height according to point 4.2.1.
5.
Make sure that all settings and working connections are correct.
6.
Attach the PTO shaft to the rake and the tractor according to the shaft's operating manual.
The support 22 should be in the upper position as per fig. 12.
