Telephone*
Telephone operation
The first entry beginning with the char-
acter entered is selected. If there is no
corresponding entry, the last entry with
the previous character is selected.
If desired, change the selection using
the
or button.
Selection using the multifunction steering
wheel:

repeatedly until
the desired entry is given in the multi-
function display in the instrument clus-
ter.
After selecting, you can start the call to the
selected entry (
page 65).
Voice tag
In vehicles equipped with the voice control
system*, you can also add a voice tag to
the phone book entries using the audio
system.
Select the desired phone book entry
(
page 67).
Press the soft key.
If a voice tag has not yet been assigned
to this phone book entry, you will be re-
quested to repeat the text tag twice.
Say the text tag twice.
Now you can also call up the phone
book entry using the voice control sys-
tem* (
separate Voice Control Sys-
tem* Operation Guide).
or
If a voice tag has already been assigned
to this phone book entry, you will be
asked whether you want to delete this
voice tag.

You can add one voice tag per phone
book entry.
The voice control system* can an-
nounce all added voice tags
