Reservoirs for Windshield
Washer and Headlamp Cleaning
Systems
The reservoir for the windshield
washer and headlamp cleaning
systems is located in the engine
compartment.
The reservoir for the rear window
washing system is located behind
the panel on the RH side in the
cargo area.
To open the panel, first place
cargo tie-down eyelet flat against
rear wall, then pull handle and fold
down panel.
Refilling windshield washer
reservoir:
Refill with MB Windshield Washer
Concentrate ” S ” and water for
temperatures above freezing or
MB Windshield Washer Concen­
trate ” S ” and commercially avail­
able premixed windshield washer
solvent/antifreeze for temperatures
below freezing. Follow mixing ratio
on package. Test washer system
for proper function.

Oil level must be between
the lower (min) and
upper (max) mark of the
s dipstick.

Do not overfill the engine.
Excessive oil must be drained or
siphoned.
For low engine oil level warning
lamp, see Index.
Checking Engine Oil Level
1 Oil dipstick
2 Oil filler cap
To check the engine oil level,
park vehicle on level ground,
with engine at normal
operational temperature.
Check engine oil level
approximately 5 minutes after
stopping the engine, allowing for
the oil to return to the oil pan.
Wipe oil dipstick clean prior to
checking the engine oil level.
