Heated Seats
1 Normal heating mode
2 Rapid heating mode
The seat heaters can be switched
on with the key in steering lock
positions 1 or 2.
Push in upper switch portion;
position 1 = normal heating
mode, one indicator lamp lights
up.
Push in lower switch portion;
position 2 = rapid heating mode,
both indicator lamps light up.
After approximately 5 minutes in
the rapid heating mode, the heater
automatically switches to normal
operation and only one indicator
lamp will stay on.
Turning off heater:
If one indicator lamp is on, press
in upper part of switch, position 1.
If both indicator lamps are on,
press in lower part of switch,
position 2.
The heater automatically turns off
after approximately 30 minutes of
operation.
When in operation, the seat heater
consumes a large amount of
power. It is advisable not to use
the seat heater longer than ne
cessary.
The seat heaters may automati
cally switch off if too many power
consumers are switched on at the
same time, or if the battery charge
is low. When this occurs, the in
dicator lamp in the switch will
blink (both indicator lamps blink
during rapid seat heating). The
seat heaters will switch on again
as soon as sufficient voltage is
available.
If the blinking of the indicator
lamps is distracting to you, the
seat heaters can be switched off.
