Adjusting Power Seats, Front
The sw itches are located in each fro n t
door.
Turn key to steering lock position “ 2 ”
(with the driver's d o o r opened, the
pow er seats can also be operated
w ith the key rem oved or in steering
lock positions “ 1” or ‘ ‘0 ” ).
Seat and Head Restraint A djustm ent:
A Seat cushion adjustm ent.
B Seatback adjustm ent.
C Head restraint adjustm ent.
A d ju st head restraint to support
the back of the head a pproxi­
mately at ear level. The head res­
traint can also be turned forward
by hand.
Note:
The head restraint should not be
pulled up past the detent when
making adjustm ents.
Warning!
Do not make adjustm ents w ith vehicle
in motion.
Storing seat and safety head restraint
positions in memory:
D M em ory button.
E Position b u ttons “ 1” and “ 2 ” .
Two sets of seat/head restraint posi­
tio n s may be program m ed in memory.
A fte r the seat and head restraints are
positioned, push m em ory button D,
and w ithin 3 seconds push position
button “ 1” . The second set of posi­
tions fo r the seat and head restraint
can be stored by pushing position
b u tto n s D and “ 2 ” .
Recalling seat and head restraint
positions stored in m em ory :
To recall a seat/head restraint posi­
tion, push position button “ 1” o r “ 2”
until seat/head restraint movem ent
has stopped. For safety reasons, the
seat/head restraint m ovem ent stops
after releasing the position button.
Warning!
Do not make adjustm ent w ith vehicle
in motion.

Note:
P rior to operating the vehicle, the
driver should adjust the seat height
fo r p roper vision as well as fo re /a ft
placem ent and seat back angle to
18
