Cleaning and Care of the Vehicle
Upholstery
Leather: Wipe leather uph o lste ry w ith
a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Exercise particular care w hen clean
ing perforated leather as its underside
should not become wet.
Velours: Pressure m arks resulting
from dampness and heat may appear
to be stains. Such marks can be
removed by wiping w ith a m oistened
brush, ironing with a w et cloth or by
treating with a dry shampoo. Do not sit
on damp upholstery. Q uick drying is
achieved by applying hot air — fo r
example, by using a hair dryer. If in
doubt, please consult your
MERCEDES-BENZ service station.
Paintwork
Do not apply wax if y o u r car is parked
in the sun or if the hood is still hot.
For maximum pro te ctio n , the paint
w ork should be waxed approxim ately
once every three m onths. Use the
appropriate MERCEDES-BENZ
Touch-U p S tick fo r q u ick and provi
sional repairs of m inor paint damage.
Light Alloy Wheels
If possible, clean w heels once a week
w ith lukewarm w ater and autosham
poo. Use an ample supply of water.
To remove stubborn marks, use
polish or paint cleaner and apply w ith
buffing cloth or a so ft cloth.
Ornamental Moldings
(Chrome-Plated, Aluminium)
For regular cleaning and care of very
d irty chrom e-plated parts, use a
chrom e cleaner.
