Combination Switch
1 Low beam (turn lighting sw itch
clockw ise tw o notches)
2 High beam (turn lighting sw itch
clockw ise tw o notches)
3 High beam flasher (high beam
available independent of lighting
sw itch position)
4 Turn signals, right
5 Turn signals, left
To operate the turn signals, move the
com bination sw itch past the p oint of
resistance (up or dow n). The sw itch is
autom atically cancelled w hen the
steering wheel is turned by a large
enough angle.
To signal m inor directional changes of
the vehicle, such as changing lanes
on a highway, move com bination
sw itch to the point of resistance only
and hold it there.
6 Control fo r w indshield washer
system
When the washer system is
sw itched on, the w ipers also
operate.
7 W indshield w iper co n tro l
0 W indshield w iper sw itched off
1 Interm ittent wiping
II Normal w iper speed
III High w iper speed
Hints:
If one of the turn signals fails, the turn
signal indicator system flashes and
sounds at a faster sequence than
under normal operating conditions.
Fog lamps will only operate to gether
w ith low beam headlamps. Fog lamps
are turned o ff autom atically when
lighting sw itch is returned to o ff-p o si­
tion.
