Radio
Note:
This is a 24 hour clo ck and tim e m ust
be entered in all fo u r digits. A 24 hour
clock counts time from m idnight to
midnight, that is 24 hours. A tim e of
4:28 PM therefore is counted by this
clock as 16:28 hours (12 plus
4:28 hours).
Example 1: To enter 7:30 AM,
press b u tto n s
l't:1 , IQ , E S . EQ
Example 2: To enter 4:28 PM,
press b u tto n s
H3 . 03 . BQ . EQ
The time entered is now stored. To
start the clock in accordance w ith a
time signal or other tim e reference,
again briefly press the recessed time
set button H
A colon sign will appear betw een the
second and third digits t « » / u , to
indicate that the clo ck is actived.
Normally, the display panel w ill show
the frequency the radio is tuned to.
To display time
Briefly press the call b u tto n D . The
time will be displayed fo r a few
seconds.
To use the tim er Q
By using the tim er Q , the radio can
be autom atically turned on at a preset
time. In o rder to set the tim e rK M the
ignition key m ust be in position “ 1” or
“ 2 ” . The tim er K H can only turn the
radio on w ith the ignition sw itch in
position “ 1" or “ 2 ” .
Setting the timer
Press button D and key the desired
tu rn -o n time into the tim e r as
explained under “ setting of the
c lo c k ” . In o rder to start the timer, for
instance, to turn the radio on at a
p reset time, press button Q The
fa ct that the tim e r has been started is
shown by displaying a colon between
the second and third digits of the
time.
W henever you wish to verify the time
at w hich the tim e r is set, press
b u t t o n H . The time will be displayed
in the panel. A fte r a few seconds, the
display will sw itch back to the station
frequency. In o rder to change the
tim e r to a new setting, refer to the
above inform ation.
