Bad Z Creep Func

Means the Z axis command in the Head Timing Menu was slow in getting to the CPU. Wait 10
seconds and try again.

CC Pause

Displayed when the [STOP] key is pressed just before or during a color change. Press [START] to
continue the color change.

CC Pointer Error

The Advantage 18 has detected a software command error while trying to move the selector
carriage to a new position. Turn the power OFF and back ON.

CC Recovery

See CC Timeout.

CC Timeout!!

During a color change, the selector carriage did not finish its move within 5 seconds. This can be
caused by a jammed selector carriage or a malfunction of its motor or electronics.

If this message appears during the power-up and initialization sequence which happens when you
turn the power switch ON:

1. Turn the power OFF.

2. Manually move the selector carriage.

3. Turn the power back ON.

If this message appears during a normal color change, the current thread must be hand trimmed at
the end of the selector carriage, and the loose end removed from the splice cell and needle case.
Check the selector carriage again to make sure it is not jammed. Center the carriage and press the
[START] key. The selector should:

1. Move all the way to the right.

2. Move back to the color it was on before the error occurred.

3. Perform an Insert Thread through the splice cell.

4. Display: CC RECOVERY.

Manually thread the machine and press the [START]

key again to continue embroidering.

If this message won’t clear after the above steps have been taken, turn the power OFF then ON. If
this error occurs frequently call your representative for assistance.
