6.1.1.5 Installation DCF77 Antenna

WARNING!

Antenna mounting without effective anti-fall protection

- Do not carry out any work on the antenna system or the antenna cable

to free lines and sequential circuits is exceeded.

Selection of the Antenna location

At the beginning of each antenna installation, the antenna location should be selected carefully. It deci-
sively determines the receiving quality and thus the availability of the DCF77 signal. If the antenna is not
precisely aligned, signal reception and timing accuracy will be affected.

The DCF antenna must be aligned towards Mainflingen near Frankfurt / Main according to the installation
conditions mentioned below.
