(1) select the baud rate and parity supported by MTC. Baud rate range supported by MTC: 2400, 4800,
9600, 19200.
(2) set the station number of the main module as "0".
(3) set the maximum number of network patrol stations as the maximum station number.
(4) set the additional delay time and the number of retries.
(5) select single layer for mode setting, and set the refresh mode to "16".
(6) click ok to save the MCbus protocol configuration.
4. Download the system block to PLC after setting, the main module communication port setting ends.
System block download method please see the "X_Builder programming software user manual".
Note: 1. After setting up the communication port of the main module, the user shall download the
system block set to the main module, otherwise the setting is invalid.
2. Make sure that the communication protocol selection of the main module dial switch selects
the MCbus protocol, otherwise the main module and MTC cannot communicate through MCbus.
3.2.3 Use the MTC wizard Settings
The MTC wizard Settings are subfunction modules of X_Builder, which are started by X_Builder. Its main
function is to configure MTC parameters through the PC, while monitoring MTC status and data. See
chapter 4 for the MTC wizard Settings.
Note: 1. After the user completes the configuration of MTC and runs the MTC on power by using
the MTC wizard Settings, the user can use the man-machine interface of any PLC that supports
MEGMEET to configure and monitor the parameters of MTC. Please refer to the relevant manual
of man-machine interface for details.
2.When the user program USES the MCbus protocol swap buffer D7500 ~ D7755, the MCbus
wizard Settings are not available.
3.2.4 Use command word to set parameters
After setting and configuration through the MTC wizard, if the user USES the man-machine interface to
connect the MC series main modules through Modbus (or free port), the following instructions should be
