Technology and maintenance
In this chapter you
fi
nd technical data on the AlphaTrainer including technical accessories. Furthermore
you receive explanations concerning the product identi
fi
cation plate and the special power adapter. You
also learn how to clean, maintain, store and properly dispose of the AlphaTrainer.
5.1 Cleaning
The housing of the device, the headphones, the microphones and the LCD shutter eyeglasses
must be cleaned before and after usage. Use a lint-free rag, which is dampened with a commercial
disinfectant for this procedure.

Absolutely consider with the cleaning the operating and security advices of the
respective disinfectant manufacturer
Note!
Do not bring the device under any circumstances with ultrasonic baths,
fl
owing
water and chemical cleaners, like e.g. Dilution, alcohol, etc. in contact. It could be
damaged or destroyed.
The headphones foam pads and the pads for the LCD shutter eyeglasses (B 00242 and/or B
00243) must be replaced per client. Cleaning foam pads is not foreseen.
Replacements can be bought in typical specialist shops or directly from MediTECH – the contact
details are in the back of this manual.
5.2 Maintenance and storage
1. Make sure that only you switch off the device as therapist and pull the plug power pack from
the plug socket.
2. Store the device at room temperature at a dry place.
If the device does not function perfectly any longer, contact us.
Note!
It is not permitted to repair as users a defect in the device. The device could be
damaged. With independent „repair attempts” the adhesion and guarantee of the
MediTECH expire.
5.3 Disposal
If the device does not function perfectly any longer, contact us.
1. Switch off the device.
Note!
If you separate the device from electricity mains, you scolded it

then the plug of the power pack from the plug socket. Pull in no case
fi
rst the plug
on the device.
2. Separate all accessory articles from the device.

The AlphaTrainer may not be disposed of in the
domestic refuse, since he contains electronic
construction units. Deliver the device with a garba-
ge dressing enterprise for electronic construction
units or send you on it (with a short note over the
intended purpose):
