Before starting the station search, select the following options:
SCAN ENCRYPTED CHANNELS
: Use
to select whether encrypted channels should also be se-
arched for.
SELECT BROADCAST TYPE
: Use
to select the preferred reception type. If you use several re-
ception types, you can use
to select the types stated below and press
OK
to activate.
Use

to confirm.
6.8.3. Cable digital
If you have previously activated the

reception type, you can now also make settings for
the network channel scan. If necessary, the

6.8.4. Satellite
If you have previously activated the
SATELLITE
reception type, you can now also make settings for
the antenna type:
To set the antenna type, select one of the following antenna types:

DIRECT
: Select this antenna type if you have a single receiver and a satellite antenna. Press the
OK
button and then select the desired satellite (you can also call up the transponder list using
the
OK
button). Afterwards, press the
OK
button again to start the search. After that, decide
whether or not the channel list should be loaded.

SINGLE SATELLITE CABLE
: Select this antenna type if you have multiple receivers and a sin-
gle-cable system. Press the
OK
button and make all desired settings for the
SATELLITE PO-
SITION 1/2, USER BAND
and
BAND FREQUENCY
(you can also call up the transponder list
using the
OK
button). Afterwards, press the
OK
button again to start the search. After that,
decide whether or not the channel list should be loaded.

DISEQC SWITCH
: Select this antenna type if you have multiple satellite antennas and a DiSE-
qC switch. Press the
OK
button and activate the desired
DISEQC
switch
1 - 4
(you can also call
up the transponder list using the
OK
button). Then select the correct
VERSION
(
DISEQC V.1.0
or
DISEQC V1.1
). Afterwards, press the
OK
button again to start the search. After that, decide
whether or not the channel list should be loaded.
The search progress is displayed during the search. In addition, the number of already found TV and
radio stations is displayed.
Afterwards, press
OK
to continue.
Once the automatic channel storage has completed, a television channel is played back.
The initial installation described here corresponds to
FIRST TIME INSTALLATION
in the

STALLATION
menu.
