Operating
Switching on/off the device
Your device will be in its normal operating state after the initial
setting up. You will activate and deactivate your device with the
On-/Off switch.
1.
To start
your navigation system press
briefly
the On-/Off
switch .
Note
: Your device will be delivered in a status in
which it will not switch off independently.
You can adjust the period of operation to suit your
needs using the
Settings
button on the main screen
of your device.
2.
To switch off
your navigation system press
briefly
the
On-/Off switch .
Your navigation system will consume a small amount of electricity
and the installed battery will be discharged, even when the device
is switched off.
It is possible for the battery to lose so much energy that an initial
installation will be necessary once again, if you do not use the
navigation system for a longer period.
