Note: The AED will only administer a shock if it is needed. A voice prompt will tell you
when to press the shock button to administer defibrillation therapy and when the
electric shock will be delivered.
Note: If the shock cancel (when the pad connector is disconnected, the patient ECG,
impedance, or mode is changed) has been occurred 3 times, the AED is
performing the CPR process after the voice prompt

is emitted.
Step 4
When the electric shock is delivered, you will hear the voice prompts:
CPR Feedback option is disabled:
“It is safe to touch the patient.”
“Begin CPR
.
”
CPR Feedback option is enabled:
“It is safe to touch the patient.”

Place CPR device in center of patient

s chest and begin CPR.
”
When the electric shock is not delivered, you will hear the voice prompts:

If needed begin CPR.
