Rear Connectors
The Mediatrix 4104 has several connections that must be properly set.

Connection
Description
ETH1
A 10/100 BaseT Ethernet RJ-45 connector for access to a LAN, WAN or
computer. This port is by default used for uplink / WAN connection.
ETH2
A 10/100 BaseT Ethernet RJ-45 connector for access to a LAN, WAN or
computer. This port is by default used for LAN connection.
Bypass
ts users to make emergency calls and maintain telephone services in the event
of a power outage or network failure.
Allows its users to maintain telephone services in the event of a power outage or

Phone/Fax Port 1 - 4
RJ-11 connectors to attach a conventional telephone or G3 fax machine.
Power connector
IEC320-C14 Power Cord Receptacle. This power cord supplies an internal
Switching Mode Power Supply (SMPS) Universal input.
Reset / Default switch
Resets configuration parameters of the Mediatrix 4104 to default (known) values.
It can be used to reconfigure the unit.
