When pressing the
Reset / Default
switch at run-time, the state sequence goes as follows:

Reset / Default Switch
The
Reset / Default
switch allows you to:
Cancel an action that was started.
Revert to known factory settings if the Mediatrix 4104 refuses to work properly for any reason
or the connection to the network is lost.
Reconfigure a unit.
At Run-Time
The
Reset / Default
switch can be used at run-time – you can press the switch while the Mediatrix 4104 is
running without powering the unit off.

At Start-Time
The
Reset / Default
switch can be used at start-time – you power the unit off, and then depress the
Reset /
Default
switch and power the unit back on. In this case, the following explains the reset behaviour:
