CLOSED FIREPLACE INSULATION
The closed fireplace must always be separated from adjacent
walls and ceilings.
If necessary, use
insulating materials
to insulate walls in contact
with the unit in case there is a risk of these becoming damaged or even
catching fire (wooden walls, plasterboard, etc.).
(figure 9)
4.10.
WOOD BEAM INSULATION
Wooden beams must be protected by suitably insulating hot
parts. This avoids the risk of fire or damage to the
cladding.

4.10.1.
Hood ventilation outlets.
You must install MCZ hood ventilation outlets or
outlets that are able to guarantee the same function
and the same air passage section (see MCZ
accessories).
MCZ bears no responsibility for any damages to the
structure or electrical components of the appliance
caused by failure to observe this warning.
For correct operation of the room ventilation remember that:
A convective air inlet of at least 400 cm
2
The upper part of the cladding must include an outlet
(additional to the ducted outlets) of at least 230 cm
2
to release
residual heat that builds up inside the cladding into the room
(this outlet is not required if using the COMFORT AIR KIT as
the heat inside the cladding is indirectly aspirated by the fans
themselves).
As well as ensuring perfect operation of the product these practices
allow you to recover part of the heat from the structure that would be
lost if it remained inside the cladding.
For a better understanding of the quantity, dimension and function of
the ventilation outlets to be installed on the cladding an example of
installation with the relevant outlets is shown below.
1a)
Grille for convection air discharge
1b)
Grille for convection air intake
Grilles
1a
and
1b
are essential for discharge of heat that
nestles inside the hood.
It is essential
to fit these grilles,
notwithstanding the type of installation or cladding to be put in
place.
