Handling
• Never connect the power plug immediately after the device has been taken from a cold to a warm environment.
The resulting condensation could destroy the device. Allow the device to reach room temperature before
connecting it. Wait until the condensation water has evaporated.
• Never touch the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Never pull on the power cable. Only unplug it by pulling on the plug.
• Unplug the power supply if you do not use the device for an extended period of time.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket in case of a thunderstorm.
• Do not cover the device to ensure sufficient ventilation. Additionally, air circulation must not be obstructed by any
objects such as magazines, tablecloths, curtains etc. During operation, keep a minimum distance of 50cm around
the device.
Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the effect beamer, e.g. for damage to the mains cable or the housing.
If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and make
sure it is not unintentionally operated. Pull the power plug out of the power socket!
It must be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• the device shows visible damage
• the device no longer works
• the device has been stored for a long time under unfavourable conditions or
• after the device has been exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport
Always observe the following safety instructions before cleaning or servicing the effect light:
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or components are removed.
The device must be disconnected from all power sources before any servicing or repair work
is carried out.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they have been disconnected
from all power sources.
Only qualified experts familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations may
perform repairs.
