Maintenance
Always observe the following safety instructions before cleaning or servicing the device:
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or components are removed.
The device must be disconnected from all power sources before any servicing or repair work
is carried out.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they have been disconnected
from all power sources.
Only qualified experts familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations may
perform repairs.
Cleaning
The outside of the light control device should be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth or dry brush.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surfaces of the housing.
Troubleshooting
By purchasing this McCrypt DMX light control device, you have acquired a product that has been designed according
to state of the art technology and that is operationally reliable. Nevertheless, problems or faults may occur. Therefore,
we would like to describe how to eliminate possible faults here:

Device does not work after the POWER switch (26) has been switched on.
• The power unit has not been plugged into the socket correctly
• The power unit connection line is properly connected to the device’s DC INPUT port (25).
• The mains socket is not supplied with power.
The connected effect lights do not work
• Blackout mode is active, and the LED next to the BLACKOUT button (11) flashes.
• The DMX addresses are set wrongly.
• The connection between the DMX light control device and the connected effect lights is interrupted.
• The DMX POLARITY SELECT switch (22) is in the wrong position. Check the DMX plug assignment of your effect
lights.
• The DMX line is too long or subject to interference. Use a special DMX high frequency line.
