This unit is not intended for usage by children
under 8 years of age.
•
This unit is not intended for usage by peo-
ple (including children over 8) with physical,
neural, mental disorders or with insufficient
experience or knowledge. Such persons can
use this unit only if they are under supervi-
sion of a person who is responsible for their
safety and if they are given all the necessary
and understandable instructions concern-
ing the safe usage of the unit and informa-
tion about danger that can be caused by its
improper usage.
•
Do not leave children unattended not to let
them use the unit as a toy.
•
For children safety reasons do not leave
polyethylene bags, used as packaging, unat-
tended.
•
Attention! Do not allow children to play
with polyethylene bags or packaging film.
Danger of suffocation!
•
Never pull the power cord, when disconnect-
ing the unit from the mains, take the power
plug and carefully remove it from the mains
socket.
•
Never use the unit if the power cord or the
power plug is damaged, if the kettle works
improperly or after the unit was dropped.
•
Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if
any malfunction is detected or after the kettle
was dropped, apply to the nearest authorized
service center.
•
Transport the unit in the original package
only.
•
Keep the unit out of reach of children and dis-
abled persons.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD
USAGE ONLY
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low
temperature, it is necessary to keep it for at
least two hours at room temperature before
switching on.
–
Unpack the kettle, remove any stickers that
can prevent unit operation.
–
Check the unit for damages; do not use it in
case of damages.
–
Make sure that the operating voltage of the
unit corresponds to the voltage of your mains.
–
Insert the plug into the socket; you will hear
a sound signal.
–
Take the kettle off the base (5) and remove
the tea basket (12) by pulling the handle (10).
If the lid (13) is installed, press the button (14)
and then remove the lid.
–
Fill the kettle with water till the maximal water
level mark «Water Max», install the kettle lid
(13) and fix it by pressing the button (14).
–
Place the kettle on the base (5).
–
Switch the kettle on by touching the button
(7) «On/Off», the button (7) «On/Off» illumi-
nation will light constantly and the button (9)
«100°» illumination will be flashing.
–
Once the water starts boiling, the kettle will
be switched off, you will hear two sound sig-
nals and the button (9) «100°» illumination will
light constantly. Pour out the water, wait for
15-20 seconds and fill the kettle with water
again.
–
Repeat boiling procedure 2-3 times.
Note: Before removing the kettle from the base,
make sure that the boiling is finished (the button
(9) «100°» illumination will light constantly and
the button (7) «On/Off» illumination will go out).
USAGE
–
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
–
Take the kettle off the base (5) and remove
the lid (11 or 13). To remove the lid (13), press
the button (14) preliminary.
–
Fill the kettle with water. The water level
should not exceed the «Water Max» mark and
should not be below the «Min» mark. If you
want to use the kettle with tea basket (12),
the water level should not exceed the «Tea
Max» mark.
–
Follow the recommendations in the corre-
sponding chapter (see below).
Water boiling
–
Cover the kettle with the lid (13) and fix it by
pressing the button (14).
–
Place the kettle on the base (5).
–
Touch the button (7) «On/Off».
–
Once the water starts boiling, the kettle will
be switched off; you will hear 2 sound signals
and the button (9) «100°» illumination will light
constantly. After 1 minute in standby mode,
the button illumination will go out.
Heating water to 40°, 60° or 80 °с
–
Cover the kettle with the lid (13) and fix it by
pressing the button (14).
–
Place the kettle on the base (5).
