Before use

• Secure the w orkpiece (a w orkpiece clamped with clamping devices or in a vice is held more securely than
by hand)
• Do not clamp the tool in a vice
• Use completely unrolled and sa f e extension cords with a capacity of 16 Amps (U.K. 13 Amps)
During use
• When w orkin g , al w a y s hold the tool firmly with both hands and take a secure stance
• Al w a y s keep the cord a w a y f rom moving parts of the tool; direct the cord to the rear, a w a y f rom the tool
• If the cord is dama g ed or cut through while w orkin g , do not touch the cord, but immediately disconnect
the plug
• Never use the tool when cord is dama g ed; have it replaced by a qualified person
• In case of electrical or mechanic ately switch off the tool and disconnect the plug
• I n case o f current interrup on or w hen the plu g is accidentall y pulled out, release s w itch in order to
prevent uncontrolled rest
A er use
• B e f ore y ou put do w n the tool, s w itch off the motor and ensure that all movin g parts have come to a
complete stands
• A er switching off the tool, never stop the rota of the accessor y b y a lateral f orce applied a g ainst it
WHEN C ONNE C TING NEW 3-PIN P L UG (U.K. ON L Y):
• Do not connect the blue (= neutral) or brown (= live) wire in the cord of this tool to the earth terminal of
the plug

- clean spindle D and all parts to be mounted - scre w VE LCRO backing pad E onto spindle D while pushing
spindle-lock bu on F ! push spindle-lock bu on F only when spindle D is at a stands
- simply press w ool bonnet G(M/ N) onto V E LCR O backin g pad E - f or removing accessories handle vice - versa
