Before welding extension plate to vehicle body, make sure:
• Inboard edge of extension plate is

ush with the top of sill on vehicle body.
• Top surface of extension plate is level with the ground.

plate to vehicle body sill as shown

FIGS. 19-1 and 20-1

ON recommends bolting the galvanized extension plate to vehicle.
