Check to see that the E-Stop is pulled out and power ON light is on top left of any inverter.
If unit works after E-Stop is pulled out you are done.
If not, check if Hydraulic motor power cable came out on the power box side.
Check and verify the down sensor is seen by the motion program. If program does not see
down/lowered sensor the computer will fault the system by not allowing raise to happen.
Verify that cockpit e-stop and or canopy sensors are not set. This will also inhibit raising of
the unit.
Check hydraulic power relay system.
Check 12VDC power supply in power box for correct voltage and fuses.
Verify 220VAC is available at pump output connector, if not issue is either wall connector
unplugged, CB for that outlet not set, no signal from interface/computer, or faulty lift relays
in power box
If power is available and all else checks out you may have a faulty pump motor.
If Unit does not Lower
Motion program not running or faulted. Check motion window for any messages
or color other than white.
Is the power backup system on line, powered up green light on in front? If this
unit is OFF, lowering will be inhibited. The lowering relays inside the power box, need
this power at all times for lowering to occur.
Check command signal source from interface/computer using the schematics at end of
manual.
Unit Raises but not Normal
CPU program error, counterbalancing problem, encoder failure or error on pitch
and/or roll or a mechanical interface problem.
Balance valves on lift cylinders not set right
Mechanical interface—ride out of square or plumb.
Check these to correct the problem with pitch pivot blocks jamming on
the lift keyways.
Faulty lift cylinder
Unit Fails to Counterbalance
Can be caused by a faulty pitch encoder, pitch motor brake, brake pad sticking,
bad interface board or motion control card, bad cables or CPU program.
Open Motion Program window, while one person peers down the inside of the
tail cover, click on back/FWD icon for C/W drive. If no movement:
1.
Bad 24VDC power supply or blown fuse located top of center
weldment. Test using multi-meter.
2.
Check CW relays on top of center weldment K5andK6, these are
reed relays mounted in separate sockets.
3.
If counterweight goes FWD but not back or vice versa, switch
K5and6 relays and retest, if movement now changes direction,
replace both relays as a set. Retest.
