C) Rellene la hélice de grasa marina mediante los agujeros marcados con la leyenda “Grasa”
situados en la parte exterior de le hélice. Deberá usar un engrasador que se suministra con la
propia hélice. La hélice MAX PROP® ECOWIND ANTISHOCK funciona de manera adecuada sólo si
está totalmente llena de grasa fluida. Verifique que la grasa comience a salir de las juntas entre las partes
movibles de la propia hélice. Asi sabrá que la hélice está bien engrasada. La grasa debe ser fluida para
garantizar el buen funcionamiento de la hélice y esta operación de engrasado deberá repetirse anualmente.
Fill the prop with marine grease (supplied) using the grease fitting (supplied) inserted into the grease
holes marked “GREASE” . The MAX PROP® propeller works properly only if the central body is
completely filled with the correct grease. Verify that the grease is oozing from the rotating joints between the
central part and the hub , so that all of the moving surfaces are perfectly oiled. The grease used must be a
type of grease approved by MAX PROP® so it will remain fluid after years of use and will not get too stiff in
cold water
D) Oriente las palas en la posición de Bandera (compruebe que están perfectamente alineadas con el cuerpo de la
hélice) y preste especial atención a que el perfil mostrado sea como el de la figura 6.
Move the blades into the feathered position, making sure that the rounded trailing edges of the blades are aft
as shown in Fig. 6

Antes de utilizar la hélice quite el ánodo y compruebe que el útil de selección del paso marcha
atrás está en el hueco destinado a tal fin. En caso de utilizar la hélice sin ese útil, se dañarían el
anillo de transmisión y el anillo inversor de manera que sería necesario devolver la hélice a
fábrica con una avería no cubierta por la garantía.
Before using the propeller remove the zinc. Make sure that the reverse insert is in place. Using the propeller
without the insert will lead to damage the internal parts.
