Message Wait
You can set Message Wait on other extensions to deliver important messages. Message Wait will be indicated to
users according to the Type of Message Wait Indication set for their extensions, contact your System Administrator
for details.
Set Message Wait
•
When the dialed extension is ringing.

Press
Msg
Key. You get confirmation tone.

Similarly, you can set Message Wait when the number is busy.
If the extension on which you set Message Wait is an EON510/VP510 user, the LED of the Voicemail Key
glows in Blue. It is the Message Wait notification provided to the user. When the user dials the feature
access code to Retrieve Message Wait, the call will be placed on your extension.
Message Wait can be set for one extension only but you can leave multiple messages in the mailbox of
extension users using Voicemail.
Cancel Message Wait

All the Message Wait set by you will be cleared.
Retrieve Message Wait
•
Press DSS Key assigned to Retrieve Message Wait.

The call will be placed on the extension that has set Message Wait.
After this, if the Voicemail
Key still glows in Blue, it means that there are other Message Wait requests
set on your extension. You need to dial the Retrieve Message Wait access code again.
