Installing Shaft and Gearcase
Attach the shaft assembly to the Pruner gearcase
assembly.
Note:
Align the locating holes and install the locating screw
through the side of the gearcase. Then tighten the
clamping screws.

DANGER
• Ensure that the guide bar and saw chain
are installed on the pr uner before
verifying the discharging rate of the
chain oil. The rotator will be exposed
and therefore dangerous if the guide bar
and the saw chain are not installed on
the pruner.
Before operation
Chain oil
1) Adding oil
1. Remove the oil tank cap and pour the chain oil
(SAE #10W-30) into the oil tank.
2. Once the oil has been poured into the oil tank,
tighten the oil tank cap to securely close the tank.
