Begin pumping fuel at a rate of no more that 9 GPM into the fuel tank . When the tank is close to full, slow the fuel rate to less 11 .

PRE START CHECK-LIST
Read and understand the Owner’s Guide and all OEM information . 1 .
Check both fuel gauges to verify that the yacht is sufficiently fueled for the trip . 2 .
Inspect the engine room: 3 .
Check fuel system for any signs of leakage . 3a .
Check the bilge water level . 3b .
Check for oil in the bilge . 3c .
Check the crank case oil level in each engine . 3d .
Make an overall inspection of the engine room for signs of potential problems . 3e .
Follow all maintenance instructions as detailed in Section 7: 3f . Maintenance .
Turn ON the master disconnect switches for both engine battery pairs and the accessory batteries . (See previous page for 4 .

Locate the DC Bus Distribution Panel (Engine Room):

Switch 5a . ON the MAIN circuit breakers, labeled: ONE & MAIN
Verify that all of the Safety circuit breakers are ON . 5b .
Switch ON the Bilge Blower PORT and Bilge Blower STDB circuit breakers . 5c .
Locate the DC Distribution Panel (Salon): 6 .
Switch ON the DC Main circuit breaker . 6a .
Switch ON the Bilge Pump Relay 1 - Bilge Pump Relay 5 circuit breakers 6b .
(OPTION) IF NAVIGATION EqUIPMENT IS INSTALLED AT THE HELM, switch ON the following circuit breakers: 6c .
Converter Lower Helm, Converter Bridge 1, and Converter Bridge 2 .
Switch ON any other circuit breakers for equipment that may be needed .

Verify that the navigation equipment circuit breakers in use are ON, breakers are located on the Bridge Breaker Panel . 7 .
Verify that all safety gear is onboard, and in proper operating condition, as required by Federal, State, and local regulations . 8 .
Verify that an adequate supply of fresh water is onboard . 9 .
Check the level of waste in the waste tanks, empty the waste if necessary . Refer to Section 4: 10 . Emptying the Waste Tanks .
Disconnect and store the shore power cord and shore water hose . 11 .
STARTING THE ENGINES
Refer to the OEM information for details on using the engine controls .
Open the cooling system seacocks for both engines . 1 .
Move both shift/throttle levers to neutral . 2 . (See Shift/Throttle Illustration on P . 79)
Select the desired engine to start first . 3 .
NEVER
start both engines at the same time .
