1.0 General
1.1 Application
Appliance type G(N)ST/RE is suitable only for the free and direct intake of air to be heated and
the free outlet of heated air into the room. Appliance type G(N)CT/RE is suitable both for the
free and direct intake of the air to be heated and the free outlet of heated air into the room, and
for connection to a duct system.
If areas are to be heated, in which there are corrosive vapours (chlorinated hydrocarbons in
particular), which are either produced directly in the area, or which may be drawn in from the
outside by the heater via a connection or an open connector, wall air heaters cannot be used
because of the risk of corrosion to the heat exchanger.
