STAGE 1 – THE SELECTION AND PREPARATION
OF THE SITE
A. PROVIDING THE NECESSARY MATERIAL
During the preparation of the base of the pool and its installation, the following
material will be required, provided by the customer.
Note: See section D. Implementation of the excavation for sinking the ORLANDO
swimming pool in the ground for additional required material.
Note: During site preparation, prepare and use sifted dredged sand that does not
contain sharp-edged grains. This will reduce the risk of damaging the swimming
pool foil.
Tip: 1 m
3
of sand equals to approximately 15 wheelbarrows, the loaded sand must
have horizontal surface..
K ey:
*) We recommend placing the sand in the immediate vicinity of the pool site.
We recommend to use fine sifted sand that does not contain sharp-edged grains.
**) RECOMMENDATION: For a sufficiently fast, smooth and high-quality con-
struction process, it is advisable to provide the largest possible source of water
for filling the pool. We recommend the use of a hydrant or a water tank.
Important note:
SWIMMING POOL HOSES
of appropriate length and diameter are required to put the pool and
accessories into operation. We also recommend to buy a
SWIMMING POOL MAT
that matches the bo-
ttom area of the pool. The geotextile swimming pool mat is very important for the construction of the
pool. Due to its properties it protects the swimming pool foil from possible mechanical and chemical
damage from the subsoil.
These and other pool accessories can be found in Marimex CZ s.r.o. offer.

B. CHOOSING THE SITE FOR BUILDING THE POOL
1. POOL, FILTRATION AND SOLAR PANEL PLACEMENT
The diagram below shows the basic layout of the pool, its accessories and distribu-
tion. Follow the diagram to select a suitable location. Try to arrange the individual
parts of the installation so that they correspond to the drawing, the requirements
imposed on them (see below), and at the same time so that they do not unnecessa-
rily increase the total cost of construction (their mutual distance, …).
2. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
F or electrical equipment around the pool:
• ČSN 33 2000-7-702 applies to the location and installation of electrical equipment
around the pool.
• Do not place a electric outlet or a filtration pump or other electrical equipment (in
accordance with ČSN 33 2000-7-702) within 3.5 m of the pool wall.
• The power supply outlet for the outdoor device must be equipped with a residual
current device with a actuating current of 30 mA (ČSN 33 2000-4-47).
Figure B-1, the layout of the pool and its accessories
Important note:
If sand filtration or other electrical equipment is to be installed around the pool, it is necessary to
select the location of the pool on the site so that this equipment (filtration,…) can be installed, as
prescribed, 3.5 m from the wall of the pool. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account
the location of the power supply (socket) within the reach of the power cord of this device.
Important note:
The electrical installation is the responsibility of the buyer (customer).
