WATER-COOLED ICE MACHINES
1. Perform steps 1-6 under “Self-Contained Air-
Cooled Ice Machines.”
2. Disconnect the incoming water and drain line from
the water-cooled condenser.
3. Insert a large screwdriver between the bottom
spring coils of the water regulating valve. Pry
upward to open the valve.
4. Hold the valve open and blow compressed air
through the condenser until no water remains.
REMOTE ICE MACHINES
1. Move the ICE/OFF/CLEAN switch to OFF.
2. “Frontseat” (shut off) the receiver service valve.
Hang a tag on the switch as a reminder to open
the valves before restarting.
3. Perform steps 1-6 under “Self-Contained Air-
Cooled Ice Machines.”
