Ice Thickness Probe & Water Level Probe
Clean the probes using the following procedure.
1. Mix a solution of Manitowoc ice machine cleaner
and water (2 ounces of cleaner to 16 ounces of
water) in a container.
2. Soak probes in container of cleaner/water solution
while disassembling and cleaning water circuit
components (soak probes for 10 minutes or
longer).
3. Clean all probe surfaces including all plastic parts
(do not use abrasives). Verify all cavities are
clean. Thoroughly rinse probes (including cavity)
with clean water, then dry completely.
Incomplete
rinsing and drying of the ice thickness probe
can cause premature harvest.
4. Reinstall probes, then sanitize all ice machine and
bin/dispenser interior surfaces.
