H5 - Malfunctioning of the battery
(Replace)
Lift the boom and place a safety wedge
on the lift cylinder rod (see: 1 – SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS AND REGULATIONS:
FORKLIFT TRUCK MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTIONS).
The battery handling and cleaning opera-
tions may be hazardous. Therefore obser-
ve the following precautions:
- Wear protective glasses.
- Handle the battery on a flat surface.
- Never smoke or use naked flames near
the battery.
- Work in a room with sufficient ventila-
tion.
- In case of contact of the electrolyte with
the skin or eyes, rinse with plenty of
cold water for 15 minutes and see a
doctor.
- Open the engine hood “1” (Fig. H5) or
remove guard “1” (Fig. H5).
- Use a spare battery, identical to the one
used in the forklift truck, and cables for
the battery.
- Connect the spare battery according to
the polarity indicated (-) (+).
- Start up the forklift truck and remove the
cables as soon as the I.C. engine starts
running.
- Replace the battery “2” (Fig. H5) if neces-
sary.

Sollevare il braccio e collocare il cuneo
di sicurezza sullo stelo del martinetto di
sollevamento (vedere: 1 - ISTRUZIONI
E NORME DI SICUREZZA: ISTRUZIONI
DI MANUTENZIONE DEL CARRELLO
ELEVATORE).
Le manipolazioni e operazioni di pulizia
della batteria possono essere pericolose.
Osservare quindi le precauzioni seguen-
ti:
- Indossare occhiali di protezione.
- Manipolare la batteria in piano.
-
Non fumare mai, non lavorare vicino ad
una fiamma libera.
- Lavorare in un locale sufficientemente
ventilato.
- In caso di contatto dell’elettrolito con la
pelle o gli occhi, sciacquare abbondan-
temente con acqua fredda per 15 minuti
e chiamare il medico.
- Aprire il cofano motore “1” (Fig. H5) o
rimuovere il carter di protezione “1” (Fig.
H5).
- Utilizzare una batteria di scorta, identica
a quella del carrello elevatore, e cavi per
batteria.
- Collegare la batteria di scorta rispettando
la polarità (-) (+).
- Avviare il carrello elevatore e togliere i cavi
non appena il motore termico gira.
- Sostituire la batteria “2” (Fig. H5) se neces-
sario.
Nota: Solo con accessorio cestello: due bat-
terie.

Den Ausleger hochheben und den
Sicherheitskeil an der Stange des
Hubzylinders anbringen (vgl.:
1 - SICHERHEITSHINWEISE UND
-VORSCHRIFTEN: WARTUNGSHINWEISE
FÜR DEN TELESKOPLADER).
Bei Manipulationen und
Reinigungsarbeiten der Batterie können
gefährlich sein. Daher die nachstehen-
den Vorsichtsmaßnahmen beachten:
- Augenschutz tragen.
- Batterie waagrecht halten.
-
Rauchen und Arbeiten neben offener
Flamme verboten.
- Nur in gut belüfteten Räumen arbeiten.
- Bei Säurespritzern auf die Haut oder ins
Auge sofort 15 Minuten lang mit reich-
lich kaltem Wasser spülen und einen
Arzt hinzuziehen.
- Die Motorhaube "1" (Abb. H5) öffnen
oder das Schutzgehäuse "1" (Abb. H5)
ausbauen.
- Eine Ersatzbatterie gleichen Typs, wie
die Batterie im Teleskoplader, und ein
Starthilfekabel benutzen.
- Die Ersatzbatterie an die Batterie des
Teleskopladers anschließen; dabei auf die
Polarität (-) (+) achten.
- Den Teleskoplader starten und Kabel ent-
fernen, sobald der Verbrennungsmotor
läuft.
- Die Batterie “2” (Abb. H5) auswechseln,
wenn notwendig.
Hinweis: Nur bei Korb-Anbaugerät: zwei
Batterien.
