Note
Always change zone diaphragms, valve plates and O-rings together to main-
tain pump performance.
Health hazard due to dangerous substances in the pump!
Depending on the substance transferred, caustic burns or poisoning are pos-
sible.
Wear protective clothing if necessary, e.g., protective gloves.
Clean pump with suitable measures.
16.3.1 REMOVING PUMP HEAD
1. Mark the position between the housing (Figure 11/1), intermediate plate (Figure 11/2), head plate
(Figure 11/3) and pressure plate (Figure 11/4) with a continuous felt-tip pen stroke to ensure
correct assembly.

2. Loosen the six screws (Figure 11/5) and remove the pressure plate (Figure 11/4), head plate
(Figure 11/3) and intermediate plate (Figure 11/2) together from the pump housing.
