• MAPS Trimmer adjusted on
INFO: the display will show
the vehicle model and control
unit software.
Maps
• By moving the MAPS trimmer,
the display will show the map
set up on the right and the
new map selected will be
flashing on the left. When the
operation is complete, the new
map selected will be shown for
about 3 seconds on the display.

DIAG: the display will show the
possible diagnostics messages

Error
However, if there are errors
when the switch is not in the
diagnostics position, the message
is generic: “ERROR”
Normal operation
• When the key is turned without
ignition for about 3 secs, the
set map appears.
• Upon ignition the display
shows the map set and then
the trimmer status.
• During normal operation, the
tachometer (Fig. 10) and TPS
status (Fig. 11) are shown, as in
the image.
WARNING: this display must
be used when fine tuning the
vehicle, with it stopped.
Working
The Force Master 3 CDI is
preprogrammed with 8 base fuel
curves. The curves are selected
using the switch labeled MAPS.
