MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
To keep all parts of your scooter in perfect working order it is important to clean it properly.
• Before cleaning, protect the exhaust pipe terminal and make sure that the spark plug is fitted and the fuel and oil tank
caps are properly closed.
• Never use chemical cleaning product as these may damage the paintwork, and plastic or rubber components, etc.
Avoid using aggressive solvents, which can cause rapid oxidation of metal parts.
• Do not use excessively high-pressure water jets when cleaning the vehicle as this may damage mechanical and
electrical components, especially at the front of the scooter (handlebars, upper fairing, instrument panel, lights, etc.).
• Avoid high pressure washing (e.g. pressure washers, etc.)
• To clean the windshield correctly use a soft, clean cloth or a sponge soaked in neutral detergent.
• When cleaning the vehicle, check that the cooling surface of the radiator located immediately behind the
front wheel is not obstructed by leaves, paper, mud, etc.; remove any debris with a medium pressure water
or air jet.
