FRAME AND RUNNING GEAR

DISASSEMBLY

ENGINE    

• (Remove silencer).

• (Remove rear mudguard).

• (Remove number plate holder rear fairing).

• (Remove rear wheel).

• (Remove filter box).

• (Remove fuel tank).

Before proceeding with the disassembly op-
eration prop up the centre of the frame to
prevent the scooter falling.

• Disconnect flywheel connectors (A).

• Undo screw (V) and detach the ground cables from

the frame.

• Disconnect throttle cables (B) from the carburettor.

• Detach tank to carburettor hose (C), detach coolant

return hose (D); disconnect choke connector (E) and
Faston connector (F) from the engine temperature ther-
mistor.

Before disconnecting hose (D), empty the
cooling system (see “Removing the radia-
tor “).
