FUEL TANK
• (Remove battery compartment tunnel).
• (Remove seat).
• (Remove helmet compartment).
• (Remove pillion grab handle).
• (Remove rear fairing).
• (Remove fuel level sensor).
DANGER
During this procedure do not use heat and
keep sparks and naked flames well clear of
the scooter. If the tank remains without the
fuel level sensor fitted for a prolonged peri-
od, plug the hole to prevent the accumula-
tion of petrol vapour in the workshop.
Make sure the tank is empty.
Before emptying the tank, wait for the en-
gine to cool down. Use a manual pump.
• Open clamps (A).
At the time of reassembly the rear clamps
must restrain the electrical cables, while the
front clamps must restrain the fuel line.
• Loosen clamp (B) and slide out the suction hose com-
plete with filter.
