HEADLIGHT
• To increase night-time visibility the scooter is equipped
with quartz (halogen) headlight bulbs.
• Low beam/high beam (A)
12V - 35/35 W halogen bulb (HS1)
• Parking light (B)
12V - 5W bulb (W5W)
For details on the light controls refer to the relative head-
ing.
NOTE
It is good practice to check that replaced bulbs
are working properly before completely reas-
sembling the headlight unit.
ADJUSTING THE BEAM
To check/adjust the vertical beam angle, proceed as
follows:
• position the scooter in running conditions at 10 metres
from a wall;
• switch on the low beam headlights and keep the scooter
upright without a stand and without rider (e.g. lean it
against a side wall);
• remove the two adjusting screw caps inside the glove
compartment;
• use a cross-head screwdriver to turn the headlight
adjusting screws. Turn clockwise to lower the beam
or counter-clockwise to raise it;
• adjust one headlight at a time while masking the other.
Adjust the beam so that the bottom of the illuminated area
on the wall is approximately 76 cm from the floor.
