CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL
IN THE  STANCHION

If the front suspension bottoms out or makes anomalous
noises, check the oil level in the stanchions as follows:

• Undo upper plug (A).

• Carefully remove spring (B) and allow the oil in which

it was immersed to drip off.

• Bring the stanchion to its bottom travel limit while keep-

ing it in a perfectly vertical position.

• With the aid of a rule or a gauge rod, check the oil

level. The correct level is 138 mm from the upper edge
of the stanchion.

• Top up with Q8 FORK OIL if necessary
