4.1 INSTALLATION AND WATER FLOOD

A by-pass line should be arranged between the inlet and outlet points of the
circulation pump, as shown in the installation diagram. This is to increase the safety in
the event of a power failure or other case that can cause non functioning of the
circulation pump.
The valve on by-pass line should be kept closed during normal
functioning. If there is an electricity cut and a risk of overheating occurs, the valve must
be open and the evacuation of hot water must be provided by natural circulation. The
diameter of the pipe to be used at by pass line should be the same diameter size with the
pipe used in installation at minimum.

An uninterruptible power supply may be used for electricity cut as an extra security
measure.
l Mount 3 bar security valve on the boiler for safety against over pressure in open
expansion systems.
l It is recommended to mount circulation pump on return line for protecting
it from overheating (stream).
l
All connections and valve positions must be checked after the installation of the boiler
is complete.
l
Operations like water filling or draining must be done while the boiler is cold and not
working.
l
Flood water from filling valve to the system until water comes out of warning pipe.
Close the filling draining valves when the filling is complete.
l
Purge the air from the system where necessary. Avoid any installation that might
block air in the system, if any doubt, please use automatic purger.
