TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES

Starting failure
Do sparks fly in
spark plug?
1. Remove spark plug, and with its metal part touching the cylinder head, try to
build sparks in the spark plug.
2. If no spark flies between the electrodes of the spark plug, replace it.
3. If still no spark flies, have a qualified service shop check the engine.
Is compression
sufficient?
1. Check the compression by pulling starter handle slowly.
If compression is low, check the tightness of the spark plugs and other
members, and tighten all loose members.
2. If compression is still low, have a qualified service shop check the engine.
Is fuel sucked
into the cylinder?
1. Set combination control lever to “CHOKE”, pull the starter handle several
times and remove spark plug.
If the end of the spark plug is wet with fuel, fuel suction is in order.
2. If fuel is not sucked properly, check the carburetor entry and fuel strainer
entry for possible blockage.
3. When fuel is properly sucked and still the engine can not be started, try with
new fuel.

มีประกายไฟเกิดขึ้น ที่หัวเทียนหรือไม่
1. ถอดหัวเทียนออกโดยให้ส่วนที่เป็นเหล็กสัมผัสกับฝาสูบลองจุดระเบิดหัวเทียน
อีกครั้ง
2. ถ้าไม่มีประกายไฟเกิดขึ้นที่ขั้วของหัวเทียน ให้เปลี่ยนหัวเทียนใหม่
3. หากเปลี่ยนหัวเทียนใหม่แล้วยังใช้งานไม่ได้ ให้นำเครื่องยนต์ไปให้ช่างผู้ชำนาญงาน
เป็นผู้ตรวจเช็ค
มีแรงอัดเพียงพอ หรือไม่
1. ตรวจเช็คแรงอัดโดยการดึงมือจับสตาร์ตเตอร์ช้าๆหากมีแรงอัดต่ำ ให้ตรวจดูว่า
หัวเทียนและส่วนประกอบอื่นๆ ขันแน่นหรือไม่หากหลวมอยู่
ก็ทำการ ขันให้แน่น
2. หากยังมีแรงอัดต่ำอยู่ ให้ช่างผู้ชำนาญงานเป็นผู้ตรวจเช็ค
น้ำมันเชื้อเพลิงถูก อัดเข้าสู่กระบอกสูบ
หรือไม่
1. ปรับตั้งก้านควบคุมรวมไปที่ “CHOKE” ดึงมือจับสตาร์ตเตอร์หลายๆ ครั้ง ซ้ำ ๆและถอด
หัวเทียนออก หากปลายหัวเทียนเปียกคราบน้ำมันแสดงว่าการดูดอัดน้ำมันเป็นปกติ
2. หากการดูดอัดน้ำมันผิดปกติ ตรวจสอบการอุดตันของคาร์บูเรเตอร์และเครื่องกรอง
3. หากการดูดอัดน้ำมันเป็นปกติ แต่ยังไม่สามารถสตาร์ตเครื่องได้ให้เปลี่ยนน้ำมันแล้ว
ลองใหม่อีกครั้ง
