(1) Remove batteries from the machine.

(2) Set the cutting depth of the machine to maximum, and attach Saw blade.

(3) Adjust parallel position of Base to Saw Blade as drawn in 

Fig. 20

.

     Note

: Tighten both Lever 45 for bevel setting and Lever 45 for depth setting fully before adjusting.

1. Hold 6-7 Shoulder pin with Clamp set (194385-5) so as not to move.

2. Loosen M5x8 Hex socket set screw a little with Hex wrench 2.5.

3. Open Safety cover fully.

4. Move the depth guide side of Base in the direction of Large arrows until the distance A is equal to B.

    

Note

: Be sure to measure the distance from the edge of the base to the base metal of the saw blade. 

5. After the adjustment is finished, tighten M5x8 Hex socket set screw firmly with Hex wrench 2.5.
