The explanation of the charge status symbols is given in
Table 6.
Table 6 Battery status
SYMBOL
CHARGE STATUS
Charging
100 % to 11 %
10 % (approx. 30 minutes of active test time remaining)
5 % (testing cannot be performed; recharge ASAP)
3 % (automatic shutdown)
NOTE
: The easyScreen will shut down automatically when the battery charge is too
low to avoid data loss.
4.4.11.3 Powering the Cradle
The cradle is powered by plugging the power cable into the micro-USB connector on
the back of the cradle and plugging the other end into an AC outlet using the
appropriate adapter for your region. The cradle LED will light up when it is powered on.
Use only the power supply delivered by MAICO for powering the cradle.
4.4.11.4 Charging the Battery
Keep the battery fully charged for the longest battery life.
With the cradle plugged into AC, insert the easyScreen into the cradle. This begins the
battery charging process. Charging time from under 10% to above 90 % is
approximately 6 hours.
Charging can be accelerated by simultaneously placing the easyScreen in the cradle
AND connecting a high quality USB cable from the easyScreen micro USB port to a
powered PC. In this case the charge from below 10 % to above 90 % can be
accomplished in approximately 3.5 hours.
Charging via the USB cable to a powered PC alone (no cradle used) or with the cradle
power supply directly plugged into the easyScreen will take approximately 9 hours.
