57-642 ECLIPSE Model 705 Guided Wave Radar Transmitter for Hygienic Industries
required range, as determined by the User Requirement
Specification (URS), the transmitter passes calibration veri-
fication and can be reinstalled on the process.
If the transmitter under test fails calibration verification, the
transmitter must be installed on the vessel and the
probe/transmitter must undergo a complete wet calibration.
After a successful wet calibration is completed, the transmit-
ter should be removed and taken to the dry calibration veri-
fication bench where a NEW Initial Baseline Verification
must be performed. The old Initial Baseline Verification is
now invalid as adjustments have been made to the transmit-
ter during wet calibration.
9.3
Sample Calibration Verification Document
If the accuracy is inside has limits “URS” (User
Requirement Specifications), the ECLIPSE passes.
NOTE: The accuracy required is the accuracy required per the
URS – NOT the standard accuracy of ECLIPSE!
Frequency of calibration verification is determined based on
experience, process conditions, and criticality of the mea-
surement.
