Threading conductor with test liquid nozzle (option)
1. Left or right magnetisation sleeve
2. Valve for test liquid nozzle (option)
3. Test liquid nozzle (option)
4. Threading conductor
5. Fixing screws for mounting the threading conductor
6. Clamping screws for the threading conductor
Procedure:
1. Remove workpiece from the machine.
2. Turn off the machine.
3. Undo the fixing screws on the workpiece supports
and remove the supports.
4. Attach the mounting of the threading conductor
and tighten the fixing screws.
5. Attach the threading conductor
6. Loosen the clamping screws [6].
7. Move the threading conductor (in the support) to
the bedstop on the left.
8. Tighten the clamping screws [6].
9. If available: connect the supply pipe for the test
liquid nozzle.
8.7 CHANGE THE MAGNETISING COIL
WARNING:
Lifted loads can fall and
cause serious personal injury and
property damage.
• Only use transport equipment that is suitable for the
weight and the dimensions of the machine.
• Insert forklift prongs only in the intended admission
points in the undercarriage. Other attachment points
are not permitted.
• Transport, assembly and installation must only be
carried out by specially trained personnel.
Depending on the dimensions and characteristics of
the workpiece, different magnetisation coils may be
required.
1. Clamping levers at the current bars (optional
hexagonal screws)
2. Connecting nut to test liquid pipe
3. Screws on clamping plate
4. Magnetising coil
Tools required:
wrenches - 17 mm and 46 mm
Procedure:
1. Remove workpiece from machine.
2. Turn off the machine and secure it against being
inadvertently switched on.
3. Attach the harness of a suitable hoist (minimum
carrying capacity: 100 kg) to the eyelets on the
magnetising coil.
4. Loosen the connection nut to the test agent pipe.
5. Depending on the version of the machine: detach
the clamping lever or remove the hexagonal screws
from the current bars.
6. Remove the two middle screws on the clamping
plate and remove the clamping plate.
7. Carefully lift the magnetising coil. Ensure that the
current bars and test liquid pipes remain separate.
8. Place the new magnetising coil into position.
9. Align the coil and fix it manually with the clamping
plate and the screws.
10. Connect the test liquid pipe and fix it with the
connection nut.
11. Tighten the clamping levers or hexagon nuts on
the current bars.
12. Check the connection of the magnetising coil.
13. Tighten the two screws on the clamping plate.
14. Adjust the test liquid nozzles and the flow of test
liquid at the magnetising coil.
15. Insert workpiece, tighten and check the contact.
